Support Groups

Mixed Adults
Focus is on “moving on” in life versus remaining stuck, dealing with losses, improving self-esteem and relationships. Biweekly on Tuesdays 10:45 am - 12:00 pm

Young Adults
A social support group for young adults ages 20 - 35. Discussion focuses on psychiatric medications, the stigma of mental illness, symptom management, transition to adulthood, separation-individuation tasks, and others. Weekly on Tuesdays 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Stonewall
This is a mixed-gender group of gay, lesbian, or bisexual individuals with a history of major mental illness. The group is affirming of sexual identity and deals with oppression and discrimination issues. Biweekly on Wednesdays 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Coping with Symptoms and Stigma
A support group for adults who wrok and are diagnosed with a major mood disorder such as depression or bipolar. The group will cover such topics as disclosure in the workplace, use of routines and schedules, coping skills and stress reduction techniques. Biweekly on Tuesdays 6:30 - 7:30 pm
