FOUNDATIONS

PROGRAM DIRECTOR-FULL-TIME - QUINCY

An exciting opportunity to provide leadership of innovative programs serving children, youth, young adults and families with complex and challenging behavioral health concerns. As part of a multi-disciplinary team provide clinical and program management of Foundations a community-based wraparound program and the Successful Employment Program (SEP) and TRACS programs for transitional age youth. In addition to supervising all program staff, including clinicians and bachelor’s level mentors, provide supervision of a pre-doctoral psychology intern and post-doctoral level staff as needed. Provide direct clinical services, including individual, family and group therapy. Must have demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience, a commitment to resiliency, recovery and strength-based approaches to clinical care, experience with family therapy, an understanding of wraparound, and an ability to approach barriers and obstacles with a creative problem solving style. Experience with DBT preferable. Must be willing to travel to programs, hospitals, community facilities and schools, etc throughout the South Shore and Eastern Massachusetts. Must be a Licensed Psychologist. Provide safe transportation to children and teens throughout our service area.

IN HOME THERAPY PROGRAM

QUALITY ASSURANCE/PLAN REVIEWER-QUINCY OUTREACH AND IHT-UP TO 20 HOURS/WEEK-11/06/09

Under the direction of the Program Manager for Quincy Outreach and IHT program, will provide ongoing qualitative and quantitative review of medical records on a timely basis. The QA Plan Reviewer will communicate with both the program manager and staff to assure continuous quality improvement. Responsibilities include Record Completeness, particularly regarding case opening documentation, Presence of appropriate Outcome Tool, Proper documentation for billing: comparing CMHC events with progress notes, Review Case Assessment, Diagnosis, and Treatment Plan to ensure accurate, adequate, and relevant documentation, Assurance of appropriate documentation and management of risk issues, Utilization Review for ongoing cases, transfers, and terminations, Follow up with staff, supervisors, and program managers on record deficiencies and trends. Requires Master’s Degree from an accredited mental health related graduate school. Must be independently licensed in Massachusetts – LICSW, LMHC, or licensed Psychologist. Minimum 3 years of post master’s degree preferred. Minimum 2 years direct supervisory experience preferred. Substantial clinical and supervisory experience with the FST/Outreach population. Experience with and understanding of third part payer and regulatory agency requirement. Knowledge of medical necessity definitions and utilization management. Knowledge of the SOAP medical record. Computer proficiency with ability to learn and use CMHC software.

CLINICIAN-FFS BOSTON OR QUINCY 02/09/09

Under the direction of the Program Director, provides a broad range of therapeutic and support services to IHT referred families. Responsiblities include developing program specific treatment plans, working as a team member with bachelor's level care coordinator, assisting family members with a wide variety of identified needs including providing them with psycheducation and behavior managment skills needed to facilitate children and adolescents transitioning from from inpatient psychiatric and CBAT facilities or if possible diverting such placements. Requires: MA, MSW or PhD in counseling, social work or psychology, valid MA State driver's license and access to personal vehicle and a minimum of one year experience providing therapy with children or adolescents and adults.

FAMILY CARE COORDINATOR- FFS BOSTON OR QUINCY

The Family Care Coordinator is a bachelor’s level staff person who works with a master’s level clinician to provide flexible support to assist caregivers in stabilizing children and adolescents in their home settings. Provides supportive services during an episode of acute mental health illness or after out-of-home treatment. The services, which can be provided as long (usually 3 to 6 months) and intensively (up to 10-15 hours a week) as medically necessary to prevent children and adolescents from requiring hospitalization and/or to enable children and adolescents to move from the hospital to a less restrictive setting. The family care coordinator will work with the family post the IHT as a community support person to assisting the family in maintaining the gains they have made during the IHT. Requires BA degree in Human Services related field and previous experience working with children and adolescents and their families. Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle for client transportation is needed

DISCOVERY PROGRAM

STAFF CLINICIAN-40/WEEK-QUINCY-10/09/09

Under the direction of the Program Director, a staff clinician at the Discovery Day Treatment Program is part of a multi-disciplinary team which provides quality clinical care to consumers with serious and persistent mental illnesses and/or who are suffering serious disturbances in life functioning due to a psychiatric problem. The program philosophy is that staff clinicians will help consumers by educating them about their symptoms and aide them in developing better coping skills through the use of group therapy in a structured, scheduled day and by the development of a goal oriented treatment plan. A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field and experience working with adults with mental illness is required.

EMERGENCY SERVICES

MOBILE CRISIS CLINICIANS (ON-CALL) MASTER'S LEVEL

Great opportunity exists for staff to earn extra money by providing on-call coverage for the Crisis Team for South Coastal towns. Variety of schedules available as on-call coverage is needed 24 hours a day/365 days of the year. Master’s level clinician will conduct in home crisis evaluations as needed during on-call hours. Requires Master's degree in Social Work or related field. Previous experience working in a crisis setting preferred. Must have child experience. Schedule/12-hour shifts: 8:00AM to 8:00PM and 8:00PM to 8:00AM.
Compensation: Master’s $75 (per 12-hour shift) to carry pager. Master’s $100 per eval during day. Master’s $150 per eval during night (8pm to 8am).

MENTAL HEALTH PEER SPECIALIST-PART-TIME-QUINCY

Under the direction of CIT Director, works to provide information, support, assistance, and advocacy for recipients, and/or caregivers/family members of consumers of mental health emergency services. Will also provide feedback and perspective to the mental health system relative to the impact and effectiveness of the services provided, and to assist with other work related to client care, as required. Requires valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle for consumer transportation, Peer Specialist Certification, and current or previous experience as a consumer of mental health services or as a family member/caregiver of a former or current mental health client. Bachelor's Degree in psychology or mental health related field, one-year experience in an acute mental health setting, and experience with Emergency Services preferred. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

BS EMERGENCY TRIAGE CLINICIAN-40/WEEK-QUINCY-10/16/09

Responsibilities include provision of phone triage services for a dynamic, mobile crisis center, accessing insurance authorizations, and assisting Master’s Level clinicians with bed searches for clients awaiting hospitalization. Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field required. Experience working with Crisis Intervention and minimum of one year experience in an acute mental health setting is preferred.

CRISIS CLINICIAN - PER DIEM - QUINCY

Under the direction of the Crisis Intervention Team Program Director, responsibilities include: telephone triage; screening and counseling; face to face evaluations including obtainment of psychosocial histories; development of a crisis intervention team plan; and crisis stabilization counseling for adults, children and their families. May provide consultation to other therapists, agencies or families and provide short-term individual or family therapy. Requires Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field and previous experience in a crisis setting.

COMMUNITY OUTPATIENT SERVICES

MASTER LEVEL CLINICIANS, CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKERS AND PSYCHOLOGISTS-QUINCY

ADOLESCENT RESIDENTIAL THERAPIST-40/WEEK-SALARIED-HINGHAM-10/09/09

Great opportunity exists for a full-time, salaried Adolescent Residential Therapist in a unique community based group home servicing 14 adolescents and their families. The Community Support Worker provides services to individuals with mental illness who require intensive short-term care coordination. Responsibilities include: transportation to and from therapy and medical appointments; care coordination between providers; collateral contacts; and other duties that support a client's treatment plan. Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work preferred. Willing to consider an Associates Degree in Human Services with a minimum of one year previous experience working with Psychiatric population. Bi-lingual in Spanish or Portuguese preferred. Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle.

OUTREACH PROGRAMS

OUTREACH CLINICIANS - MASTER'S LEVEL ! RECEIVE CLINICAL SUPERVISION FOR LICENSURE! FFS - BOSTON, PLYMOUTH, WAREHAM OR QUINCY

Great opportunity exists for a Master's Level clinician to work with our Community Outreach Services. This program works with children experiencing emotional difficulties and their families who are unable to attend appointments at an outpatient clinic. Services are provided in homes or school settings. School services include consultations with teachers and personnel, in-service training to help identify children at risk, and how to follow up with referrals. By observing families in a home setting, team members are able to create a treatment plan in response to the type of supports available. Requires Masters Degree in Social Work or related field. Experience working with children and families and Independent Licensure preferred.

STEP ONE EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM IN QUINCY

SOCIAL WORKER OR DEVELOPMENTAL EDUCATOR 30/WEEK-QUINCY- 07/24/09

Provides educational and therapeutic services to children from birth to three years, and provides support and education to their families. Requires Master's degree in Social Work or BA Degree in Early Education. Previous experience working in early intervention setting. Bi-lingual in Cantonese or Mandarin is helpful.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, PHYSICAL THERAPIST, SPEECH THERAPIST - QUINCY -FULL-TIME, PART-TIME OR FFS

Provides primary services to infants, toddlers and their families within the early intervention program. Provides both home and center based interventions. Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel to various sites and towns of Milton, Quincy and Randolph. Minimum degree required to maintain current Mass. Licensure in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Speech Therapy; Must be certifiable as an EI specialist within three years of employment for new hires; Prior experience working with children from birth to age three and their families preferred.



COMMUNITY BASED FLEXIBLE SUPPORTS SERVICES

CASE WORKER-TWO FULL-TIME POSITIONS-QUINCY 09/18/09

Under the direction of the Community Recovery Program Director will manage a caseload of clients with severe and persistent mental illness who live in the community. Responsibilities include working with clinical staff to develop an Individualized Action Plan and implementation of this plan. Plan may include assisting people with medication management and fiscal management. Serves as primary liaison for Service Providers, Family and Guardians. Monitors overall physical well being of caseload. Oversees risk and crisis management plans and interventions. Alternating on-call responsibilities for the program. BA/BS in psychology or related field preferred. Requires at least one year of Human Services experience and working knowledge and experience in recovery based services. Access to personal vehicle for consumer transportation is needed.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS COORDINATOR-20/WEEK-QUINCY-05/08/09

Under the direction of the Director of Rehab/Housing assesses overall physical health of clients, conducts health assessments, provides training to other team members regarding health and wellness issues, educates clients and families on health and wellness, develops relationships with medical and psychiatric providers to facilitate effective services to clients, facilitates provision of physical health resources to clients. Reviews treatment plans to ensure that health and wellness issues are incorporated. Requires Bachelor's degee in an MH field, MAP/FirstAid/CPR certification. Previous experience with mentally ill population. Familiarity with the principles of psychiatric recovery required.

EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST-20/WEEK-QUINCY-07/02/09

Employment Specialists are responsible for assisting adults, who are dealing with mental health issues to become competitively employed in the community and to reach their maximum vocational potential. Ideal candidate must be able to provide employment related support to individuals with a wide range of skills/abilities, must be able to be flexible with work schedule to meet the needs of program participants and their employers, must be able to communicate effectively with other service providers to coordinate service delivery for program participants.
