Addictions

Quitting Time Addictions Services provides a broad range of services for individuals with a primary addiction to alcohol, drugs, or multiple substances. Individuals who may be diagnosed with both mental health and substance abuse issues can be provided services through South Shore Mental Health's Community Outpatient Services (COS) and Discovery Day Treatment programs. Level of care is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Quitting Time Addictions Services staff is comprised of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians including certified addictions counselors, licensed psychologists and social workers, nurses and psychiatrists. Services are based on a twelve-step recovery model with close linkages to Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and other self-help programs. Our wide range of services include:

Quitting Time Intensive Outpatient Program

The Quitting Time Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) allows individuals with an addiction problem to attend treatment while continuing to work and maintain their lifestyle in the community. The IOP meets five nights per week in the evenings. The ability to move to less intensive treatment is continually re-assessed.
